Originally a simple white box with very little, badly painted colour, it was destined for the bin. I rescued it, carefully repaired small chips and cracks, and gave it a brand-new look through full restoration and repainting.
The box is now covered in soft lilac and blue tones, with textured red flowers and hand painted green leaves climbing across the lid and sides. I sealed it with a protective varnish to ensure durability and added a felt lining to both the base and lid for a neat and practical finish.
